Leading construction equipment manufacturer, LiuGong Machinery, has partnered with its authorised dealer in the UK, Lloyd Ltd, to showcase a broad range of machines tailored to demanding UK applications at upcoming ScotPlant, set to take place on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th.
The showcase reflects growing demand across the UK construction sector for compact, efficient, and battery-electric machinery suited to infrastructure, utilities, housebuilding, and quarry operations.
Visitors to the Lloyd Ltd stand at ScotPlant will be able to experience a diverse range of machines from LiuGong, including excavators, short-radius machines, electric equipment, and wheel loaders designed for productivity in challenging site conditions.
Compact and heavy-duty excavators on display will include the 9018FE, 9027FE, 9051F, 909ECR, 915FCR, 922F, and 925FCR. The lineup will also include loading solutions such as the 838T skid steer loader and the 870HE electric wheel loader, alongside the LS0610E electric scissor lift for access applications.
In addition, LiuGong will present the 6027F tandem roller, marking the introduction of its road machinery range into the UK market and expanding the brand’s offering for demanding road construction and landscaping applications.
The showcase comes as UK contractors increasingly prioritise machines that balance performance, efficiency, and lower operating costs, particularly in sectors facing labour shortages, emissions requirements, and productivity pressures.
“We are seeing strong interests in machines that are versatile, efficient, and ready for real UK job sites,” said Dean Thornwell, Managing Director of LiuGong UK & Ireland.
“Our presence at ScotPlant reflects LiuGong’s commitment to bringing a broader product portfolio closer to customers, while strengthening local support and adapting machines to regional requirements. Working alongside Lloyd Ltd, we are looking forward to engaging directly with customers and supporting their evolving needs.”
The presence of the 870HE electric wheel loader and compact electric excavators at the showcase also reflects increasing interest in low-emission equipment across UK construction and infrastructure projects, particularly in urban and regulated environments.
On this backdrop, Lloyd Ltd has highlighted the importance of the partnership with LiuGong and the opportunity to showcase the machines to Scottish contractors and plant hirers:
“ScotPlant is a key opportunity for us to demonstrate the strength and breadth of LiuGong’s expanding portfolio to customers across Scotland,” said George Lloyd, Managing Director of Lloyd Ltd. “Customers will be able to see newly introduced electric wheel loaders and excavators engineered for real-world applications, speak with our team, and explore solutions that support productivity and efficiency.”
